@beautyandblanc It sucks bc you want them to show up for you but might be a blessing. I had the same with my SIL. When we asked her to be in the wedding (against my wishes) she announced having a second baby which prevented her from participating in all the festivities but it was for the best

There’s a couple at our club who my husband went to HS with the wife. Her and I hung out years ago after they got married then they went on to have kids so never hung out again but bump into each other often. We reconnected and making plans for next week. They have a boat so🤞🏽🤞🏽
