Did the prosecutors ask for no bail/high bail citing previous violent incidents?
No excusing the judges totally, but they tend to rubber stamp what is provide (if lawful).

@TheQuartering The problem is parts obsolesence - anything produced in the '90s or 2000's is facing the inability to replace the stocks because electronic components in old designs are no longer produced despite the money being thrown at the problem.

Most of his non-arrest incidents got resolved outside of court when the lawyer-prosecutors face-palmed and dropped charges and settled out of court.

As it has occurred, there is an injury and a medical bill pending for this unlawful use of force.
