He had no biological children publicly documented

He was diagnosed with ALS (Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis), which later contributed to his passing.
It's a neurodegenerative disease that destroys motor neurons and leads to increased muscle weakness, paralysis, and eventual loss of the ability to speak, swallow, and breathe.

Victor Vaz, a fellow voice actor and dublador, was his nephew. Victor lived with him for five years and announced his death with an emotional tribute.

He lived in Tijuca, Rio de Janeiro, with a caregiver during his final months, but no other immediate family members (like siblings or children) were named in reports or tributes.
