Back in 2008 I had an after work routine, got home at 18:00pm, watched TV until 20:30 then studied until midnight. I was disciplined but still failed again.

In 2009 I left formal employment to start a business and give my CTA studies full attention but I still failed that’s when I totally gave up.

I’ve always been an average student, so failure was not foreign to me, after all in high school I prayed for a 40% mark in Pure Maths, anything above 40% was a celebration 😂🤣🤣😂.

There are many of us average students who are now in leadership positions, I believe what makes us successful is the fact that we’re not afraid to fail, life long gave us lemons.

When you feel like you’ve given something your all, accept that you have failed and gained the experience, move on to something else, who knows, your success might be on the other side of fear to start all over again 💜💜💜💜

I learned in September 2014 that Black people could infact own the bank if they worked together, since then not a day went by without me saying “we shall own the bank” and without the YWBN TEAM and YWBN CFI shareholders working towards registering the bank.

We had many detractors, who went as far as using state owned entities to attack BUT we stood firm, blocked the noise and focused on the end goal.

It gives me so much pleasure that after 9 years I finally get to say WE OWN THE BANK!!

It was worth the 9 years WAIT!
