Taxpayers are not angry enough. South Africa is not in a position to be taking in more asylum seekers.
This country is impoverished, unemployment is high, and the cost of living continues to rise. So why should taxpayers’ money be used on asylum seekers and other foreigners when our fellow citizens are struggling?
Instead of allocating more of our taxes to asylum seekers, we should be using those resources to, for example, increase old-age grants and improve housing, healthcare, and other essential public services. You cannot prioritise helping outsiders while failing to adequately help your own citizens.
Those seeking asylum, especially those who are not from the SADC region, should first seek asylum in neighbouring countries where applicable under international and regional asylum rules.
WE CANNOT AFFORD TO TAKE IN MORE FOREIGNERS, INCLUDING ASYLUM SEEKERS!

If you grew up obsessed with Identity Discovery and murder documentaries/investigation shows, then you will know that no amount of precautions will keep women safe from people who are determined to harm them.
