I want to share a really cool moment at the gym tonight. Being a Monday night, the gym was PACKED. I was on the cable machine when a guy came up and asked if he could work in with me to which I replied, “of course you can”. After a couple sets, he asked me if I wanted to hear a funny story. He said 10 years ago at another gym in the area, he asked a man if he could work in on a chest machine to which the man rudely replied with attitude, “No”. I was there and saw this happen, walked over to them and said, “F him, you come work in with me”. He said ever since then he always lets people work in and share equipment with him. He told me he really appreciates my content over the last few years about gym culture and positivity, and that when any of his friends ever say, “Joey Swoll can’t really be that nice or act that way in real life”, he always sticks up for me and tells them I am 100% like the same person in real life as I am online. That truly made me so happy to hear. Seth, THANK YOU brother for absolutely making my night. You, and ANYONE in the gym, are ALWAYS welcome to work in with me.
