Just met the nicest woman on Amtrak. She’s traveling the entire country by herself over the next two weeks. She shared all her ingenious diy train-camping life hacks and now we’re married and living indefinitely in the dining car. Byeeee
So sorry to hear about Governor Dick Lamm. Really enjoyed him. We worked out at same facility and had many lengthy conversations in the locker room. Also shared the stage w/him at many an event. A brilliant man. The world is a lot less smarter today.
This tweet could be moot in an hour and 20 minutes. But what if the #Rockies don't trade SS Trevor Story? Is it a total tragedy to get a compensatory pick when he walks as a free agent?
@LesShapiro Hey there! We love hearing kind words for our Cohearts, and we're glad to hear that you were able to get some help rescheduling. Feel free to hop into a DM with your confirmation number, so we can share the kudos! -Tayler
Shoutout to @SouthwestAir. Flew to DEN yesterday for medical procedure. Scheduling glitches at the hospital. Flight needed to be changed. SW folks on phone & at the gate listened, showed great empathy & smoothed things out. Thanks. That's why we fly you at every opportunity.
Flew into Denver this morning to start a new round of chemo. Not a good omen when the Uber driver taking us to the hospital turns on the radio and the first song is by Five Finger Death Punch. #5FDP
2/2 Arizonans have certainly prepared for your arrival, and we look forward to sharing our state and our candidates for various offices with you. We’ve had some much needed rain via our monsoons, and we’ll count on you to bring the thunder!
At a Chicago pizza joint..
Friend: How long's it take?
Me: 40 minutes.
Friend: Let's do an appetizer.
Me: Ok, pick.
Friend: How about cheesebread with marinara?
Me: That's bread, cheese & sauce. You're ordering pizza before the pizza. What's wrong with you? Get a f&%kin' salad.
Helluva 1st round for @Mets PeteAlonso. The guy throwing him those beach balls is Mets coach Dave Jauss. (I played against Dave all through h.s. & with him one summer.) His dad was famous Chicago sportswriter Bill Jauss, a pioneer in sportstalk panel shows on TV. We owe him.
