I donโt get how we blame full time workers for having to claim benefits to supplement their income. Why TF arenโt we asking WHY this is happening in the first place? Weโre not really supplementing their income, weโre supplementing employers refusing to pay LIVEABLE wages.
@narindertweets Honestly sounds like ur jealous! Working from 16 to 67 so 51 years of tax and ni for ยฃ12.5k a year. Cmon. Give ur head a wobble! Paid 25 years into a mortgage. My starting salary was just over ยฃ3k a year! I bought a flat at ยฃ28k with my partner.
@narindertweets You're way off the bat here. I've paid NI since I started working at 16. The uk has one of the lowest pensions in Europe. Half min wage and u r bleating on about it. I think you should tackle the healthy working age inactive. Plenty waste there!
I came to the UK as an asylum seeker after escaping radicalised Afghanistan.
I built a life here, got married, raised two children, and taught them loyalty, values, and โBritish patriotismโ. ๐ฌ๐ง
My kids were born here. They speak the language, live the British way, and I always told them:
โYou are British, Afghanistan is not your identity.โ
But when their school started teaching them Islamic studies, I stood up and said:
โThis is a Christian land, if you want to teach religion, teach them Christianity first.โ
I came here with respect for this country, and raised my family to do the same.
โWe didnโt come to change Britain. We came to be part of it.โ
And immigrants who came in here to change this beautiful country can fuck off

@BuckCllr@JujuliaGrace I agree wholeheartedly. Worked since 16 sometimes doing part time second job and years of working overtime just to make ends meet. I've worked hard for everything I have.
Before Brexit the UK was about as rich as Germany, and richer than France.
Now it is much poorer than either, by 2030 we will be poorer than Poland, and by 2040 we will be poorer than all 27 EU countries.
The magic of Brexit.
