Ok, so https://t.co/GKpUrHTi5L is live!
I built this because I was fascinated by a talk that @searchbound gave in @dvassallo’s Small Bets community.
The idea of letting the domain name guide you when it comes to what business/project to build instead of trying to think of ideas really resonated with me.
Trawling through GoDaddy’s expired domain auctions consumed a lot of time and I wanted a better way to surface high quality expired domains.
Enter BuildOnDomains. The tool filters through GoDaddy’s 10k+ expired domains listings daily, to surface domains that you could use to start your next business.

@PaiNishant I am having to do quite a bit of change management lately. It’s very difficult in a large org to get people to change the way they do things
Started reading “Thinking In Systems” this evening. Enjoying it so far.
Trying to relate it to things at work. One thing I’ve noticed is how hard it is to make changes in a large org.
The inertia is just too much at times. Hoping this book will give me some insight to understanding how systems work. And perhaps affecting change more easily
Decided to do some free projects to get some proof together.
Rewriting a site that I put together for a friend last year. It’s been a hell of a lot quicker using Starwind.
One thing I am trying to focus on is the value that AI cannot compete with. And that is the strategy of putting a site together. What goes where, and in what order, what language to use etc.
I’m going to need to get my copywriting skills up!

Focusing on small and medium business sites. Clean and clear, making sure the messages gets across and the design stays out of the way.
Been doing a bunch of BA work recently. Getting prototypes ready to hand over to our internal dev team.
Learning a ton. The biggest lesson so far is: what we think we want, is rarely what we actually want

This post got me thinking about starting up my web design business again
You deliver a web design service and get paid for that.
But you also get exposure to business owners pain points, increasing surface area for SaaS ideas potentially.
X definitely warps our desires, we see all the MRR of these online SaaS tools, but the odds of making it are so small.
We can stack the deck in our favour by doing more “unsexy” business models.
Our Norwegian brethren have kicked off in the World Cup.
And @BuildOnDomains has surfaced this one.
Why not start a biz teaching people how to speak Norwegian?
