The stupidest part of the whole Trevor Lawrence debate is the fact that some people don't realize he will be here no matter what for the next couple seasons at least. Instead of fantasizing with "what could have been" or "what we should do," you have to make what you can with the truth. And the truth is that we've seen Trevor play as a Top 5 QB in the NFL before, that late 2022 run was special. It is all about consistency. He has more arm talent than most quarterbacks to grace the league in recent history. We've seen quarterbacks turn their career trajectories around in Sam Darnold and Daniel Jones just lately, and Trevor is much more talented than both. While he hasn't played to his potential as he would admit, it is a casual fan lazy take to blame Trevor above the roster always. The fact of the matter is that you cannot win games when you are getting physically dominated in the trenches and there is no stability at the WR position. Patrick Mahomes would not be a dominant QB with our line and consistent pre-snap penalties. He's on his third HC in a half a decade... Coen knows his potential. Ask any Clemson fan and they would call current Trevor haters crazy.
