The key point refered here is that, how larger narrative is run by these these firms, which eventually makes sure that younger gen forgets fact.

Headline could have been:
1. Beyonce joins the leagues of legendary singers like Celine Dion, as one of the highest audiences at xxx

2. Beyonce becomes the second women in history to have one of the highest audiences at xxx

3. After 23 years, Beyonce made history to receive one of the highest audiences at xxx

But they made so much effort by putting that "this century" to sideline other women, other performers, singers. That effort needs to be question because that wasn't needed.

Before you'll start lecturing on, remember Beyonce is queen, a MOTHER, and am a fan. But I can see these media houses mistreating music history, and marginalising one over the other.
