Cllr Anntoinette Bramble, Hackney Labour Group Leader & Cllr Anna Lynch, Deputy Leader: ‘While there may be challenges ahead, the new Green administration inherits a council that is stable, functioning, ambitious, full of potential. Your blank canvass starts with a Labour legacy’
What an amazing piece. Rishi has been such a solid figure for me over the past 4 years. I’m so proud of what he’s achieved over the last 12 years for Bloomsbury.
I know he won’t sit still but hope he gets some time to rest, spend time with J and the other Leicester 🦊
Twelve years serving Bloomsbury leaves me with a heart full of stories & I end this chapter by writing one of them for @NewJournal
Thank you, for the space to reflect. It’s been a privilege, a joy & occasionally worn‑out soles & many multistorey buildings without lifts 😜

Labour are backing renters:

👉 Renters can request to have a pet
👉 Rent increases are limited to once a year

We are pledging to keep all of our libraries open if elected.
We have kept all of our libraries open despite the financial challenges.
This is a political choice. A Haringey Labour choice.
Mick says how many people feel here. Especially those from working class trade union backgrounds.
The reaction to this from some quarters is so extreme. Everything ranging from him being a sell out to him being stupidly loyal.
It smacks of classism.

Haringey Council has made big strides forward these past four years.
I'm very grateful to have had the opportunity to play my part in delivering for residents as part of our hard-working @HaringeyLabour team.
I despair.
Asides from the fact this policy is simply wrong. The impact on local government (already cash strapped) does not appear to have been thought through.
