Я привітав Президента Трампа з днем народження, і ми доволі детально обговорили багато ключових речей, серед яких, звісно, мир. Я побажав Президенту Трампу успіхів, насамперед у його зусиллях щодо завершення війни Росії проти України. I have just had a great conversation with @POTUS. I congratulated President Trump on his birthday, and we have had quite a detailed discussion about many key things – peace, surely, was among them. I wished President Trump every success, above all in his work to end Russia’s war against Ukraine. I also thanked him for all the support America has been providing to Ukraine, and it does matter that we remember with gratitude every step of that support – from Javelins to Patriots.

We discussed things that could help bring about peace now, and I informed the President about the latest developments on the battlefield and how our position has strengthened. We agreed that we will discuss more during our meeting at the G7 Summit. We have some good ideas that could help advance peace and protect lives. Thank you!

The fire at Rybinsk wouldn't go out — and then the rain turned to oil. After a Ukrainian drone strike set the ROsrezerv's oil depot burning in Russia's Yaroslavl Oblast, oily droplets began falling over the city.

Russians have learned what that smell means. In late April, Perm residents wiped the same dark stains off their cars after drones torched a Transneft pumping station. Before that, Tuapse choked on it when an oil farm went up.

The target was the Federal Government Custodial Institution "Combinat 'Temp'." The facility belongs to Rosrezerv, Russia's state reserves agency, and is used in part to store fuel. The same combine was already hit once before, on 31 December 2025.

Russian drones struck multiple communities in Ukraine's Sumy Oblast, hitting civilian infrastructure including a truck, a farm, and residential housing, leaving several people injured and damaging livestock.

In the Sadivska community, five people were wounded in a strike on a farm, while Berezivka and Bilopillia also reported impacts on civilian sites.

Russia continues to use strike drones against non-military targets in frontline border regions, where civilian infrastructure is regularly exposed to attacks.

Emergency services extinguished all fires at the impact sites.
