Through the 340B Drug Pricing Program, AHF Pharmacies get their drugs from drug companies at a reduced cost, and AHF uses the savings to provide free and low-cost healthcare to people living with #HIV and AIDS. When you use an AHF Pharmacy to fill your prescriptions, the money you spend also goes back into care. Yes, anyone can use an AHF Pharmacy. We even deliver for free.

Drug companies choose to participate in 340B. The federal government rewards them with access to the lucrative Medicaid and Medicare markets. It is a deal they struck in 1992, and then reaffirmed in 2010 when the Affordable Care Act expanded Medicaid and added more categories of safety net providers to the list of covered entities.

Now, #GreedyPharma wants to renege on the deal they struck and turn their backs on millions of people who rely on the healthcare they receive thanks to 340B. They want to ‘reform’ 340B just to satisfy their relentless greed for more and more profits.

Let’s be clear: 340B is a lifesaving program that costs taxpayers absolutely nothing. Thousands of safety net providers rely on 340B. Restricting or eliminating 340B puts millions of lives at risk. We must defend 340B from attacks from self-interested profiteers.

340B works. Congress should leave it alone. It isn’t broken.
