Hey, weโre still here ๐๐ฝ
Established in 2015, we restored the the faith in elections and will continue to do so.
Donโt mess with VBM (vote by mail).

We're excited to share some great news! Here are 8 priority bills from our #LNV coalition that were signed into law during the 2025 legislative session. #LegNV ๐
Take a look at this article for more information about #AB499: "The veto of #AB499 will stop, for now, the misguided and ill-conceived implementation of voter ID in Nevada." #LNV#LegNV
Gov. Joe Lombardo has vetoed the bill that would have required voter ID in Nevada elections starting next year, despite the proposal appearing to be part of a deal he struck with legislative Democrats.

Great news: #SB74 is heading to the governor's desk, bringing it one step closer to becoming a law in NV. #SB74 mandates that the Secretary of State implement a cybersecurity incident response plan for electoral processes and introduces other technical modifications. #NVLeg#LVN
Great news: #SB422 is heading to the governor's desk, bringing it one step closer to becoming a law in NV. #SB422 requires the DMV in counties with a population of 100,000 or more (Clark and Washoe) to stay open for extended hours during election season. #NVLeg#LNV
Great news: #AB534 is heading to the governor's desk, bringing it one step closer to becoming a law in NV. This program, established and administered by the Secretary of State, will assist county, city, or tribal governments in running elections and improving voter access. #LNV
Great news: the Senate Floor has just passed #AB123, and it's headed to the governor's desk. This bill will make it a crime to threaten or intimidate candidates for public office and their families. #LegNV#LNV
"This reminds me of my first election, when I went to vote with my mom. I was holding my mother's hand because I was very nervous; I had just become a citizen, and my mom told me, โMijo, en este pais, nuestro voto cuenta," stated our partner @maketheroadnv in opposition to #AB499
"The fact that this has been brought up in the last three days of the session on such a key issue, this isn't an ingenious solution to cut something off. It's a show of weakness. We, as a coalition, do not support this," stated our partners at @ACLUNV in opposition to #SB499#LNV
Our partners at @naacplv stated their opposition to #SB499. "I'm so disturbed by this deal. The NAACP's mission is to secure the political, educational, social, and economic equality of rights for all persons and to eliminate discrimination based on race." #LegNV#LNV
Senate Finance Committee heard a major proposed amendment to #AB499. The amendment would require Nevadans voting in person to show ID before they can vote, or for mail ballots to include certain identifying numbers.ย #NVLeg
This morning, with only 3 days left in #NVLeg, the Sen. Finance Committee heard an amendment for #AB499 that would implement voter ID in NV elections. We are adamantly opposed to this measure & you can read our full statement from @SSV_NV here.
HAPPENING NOW #AB499 HEARING
Creating barriers to voting is a solution to a problem that doesnโt exist. The proposed amendment to #AB499 is costly and will make voting harder for many in our communities. Voter ID laws disenfranchise voters. #NVLeg
Voter ID requirements only solve a problem that affects .0001% of votes cast in Nevada. This amendment to #AB499 is a costly measure that solves a problem that is almost non-existent. Read more about the bill here: https://t.co/Xe8uM3N1xV
We thank the Senate Committee on Legislative Operations and Elections for sponsoring #AB74, which has moved out of committee and is closer to becoming law in NV. #NVLeg#LNV
We are thrilled to announce that #SB422 is one step closer to becoming law. Thank you to @Ohrenschall4NV for presenting alongside the SSV Executive Director. #NVLeg#LNV
Thanks to AVL for support of SB 422, "This bill addresses issues by requiring the DMV to offer extended hours. We believe that when voter registration is accessible, more people are likely to vote, leading to elections that are representative of the entire population."
