Today the @WhiteHouse announced new COVID measures, including shortening the testing period from 3 days to within 1 day of travel. Our understanding is this is only for air travel & those able to cross into the US via land are NOT required to test https://t.co/sXDqQ1hdGu
@akulykUSRT @RepBrianHiggins Our campaign is focused strictly on US policy. Testing at the land border is a policy of Canada. If youโre interested in lobbying for changes to a Canadaโs policy we recommend @FacesofAdvocacy & contacting Canadian elected officials
Starting November 8, fully vaccinated, non-citizen travelers with appropriate documentation may enter the U.S. at land and ferry border crossings.
This shift eases long-standing restrictions on non-essential travel, consistent with public health guidance.

@klchecks As previously announced, minor children under 18 are exempt from the vaccination requirements. Note: Canada currently has regulations on returning minor children, which include no daycare or school for 14 days after intentsiton travel
@catsupchips It does not say additional steps, it says additional information on the steps needed - likely details on the attestation, and what is accepted as proof of vaccination status.
The @WhiteHouse still hasnโt released the offices regulations but promising news from @RepBrianHiggins: U.S. won't require COVID-19 test results to cross land border https://t.co/hp3ZMjBBmj
