I love being a ray of sunshine. I don’t want to be in anybody’s life making it harder. If I ever am, cut me off. I’d rather be remembered for bringing peace, kindness, and good energy than for adding weight to someone’s shoulders.
Nobody tells you that some of your biggest milestones happen quietly. No party. No post. Just you, standing in your kitchen, realizing you finally feel okay.
One day you're begging a man for the bare minimum, then suddenly you're being spoiled by another man who wants nothing more than to love you, care for you, respect you, adore your every breath, protect you, and make you feel safe, desired, and at peace.
When you hurt someone who truly cared about you, and they still meet you with love and respect, you may not realize it right away but you've lost something rare.
You didn't just lose a person. You lost someone who saw you clearly and still chose you: a heart that loved you beyond your flaws, a soul that stayed open when it would have been easier to close off.
For most people, once trust is broken, that's the end. They walk away, cut ties, and protect themselves by becoming distant. History stops mattering. Loyalty fades. The connection dies.
But some hearts are different. Some people still care even after being hurt. They still see the good through the pain. They forgive not because they are weak, but because their love runs deeper than the wound. They choose peace over resentment.
If you ever lose someone like that, you didn't just lose love. You lost a beautiful kind of soul the kind the world rarely makes anymore. In a hard world where most people leave at the first sign of pain, the one who stays soft after being hurt is a heart you don't find twice.
as i get older, i’m starting to realize that the purest form of love is consideration. when someone thinks about how things would make you feel. in any bond how much they care about you is found in how much they consider you.
Be careful with the idea that ‘everyone is replaceable.’ Some people are truly one of a kind. If you lose them, life won’t hand you another version you don’t meet certain souls twice.
