Third time in the last 2 weeks something like this has happened on Jinnah Bridge. Last week two full dumpers were thrown on the ramps.

On 4th Sep, apx 9100 tons garbage dumped at so-called “landfill sites” at Jam Chakro & Gond Pass.
Total daily garbage collection is 13-15,000 tons/day. Where is the remaining 4-6,000 tons of garbage dumped?
Acc to MD SSWMb 1.5mn tons of garbage is the backlog in #Karachi.

Total generation is about 13-15 thousands tons per day and on both sites on ave 9500ton/day is dumped by all agencies.
Agencies other than DMC & SSWMB hardly generation more than 10% of the total garbage. PPP is still playing politics of blame game rather fixing SSWMB. #karachi
