Designing payment systems isn’t just about speed or cost; it’s about trade-offs.

At #GDPIS2025, experts from @AfricaNenda & @Princeton will unpack tensions between:
‣ Public vs private infra
‣ Interoperability vs sovereignty
‣ Speed vs reliability

We’re proud to have supported @ChathamHouse’s new paper “The Case for Expanding Digital Public Infrastructure.”

It shows how open, interoperable #DPI — from digital ID to payments and data exchange — can power inclusion, innovation and national sovereignty when grounded in trust, transparency and rights.

As countries invest in digital transformation, this research reminds us that DPI is not just technology — it’s a foundation for fairer, more connected societies.
