love watching Caitlin Clark hoop but she does whine too damn much and i can see how that shit can be annoying af when you already don’t like her greatness lol
Efficiency getting normal + she’s finally utilizing her middy and downhill ability. The turnovers getting worse + she gets too down on herself once things go left and it destroys her.
@Emperor_Skookum@MasterRamsford Yes. People who watch the games comment on it constantly. But ignoring CC’s flaws/bad performances while shifting blame is not productive.
The Indiana Fever run two different offenses. I didn't see it before, but I clearly see it now.
I believe Stephanie White has one. And Caitlin Clark has one.
I can see them calling and running plays when it's not thru Caitlin. But, when Caitlin has the ball, it's mostly her calling for picks.
She clearly goes rogue on the offensive schemes. Very often.
I can see her teammates signaling her to move off the ball to get open looks thru Aliyah Boston and Kelsey Mitchell.
And she doesn't move. She often stands in one spot. When she doesn't have the ball, she looks uninterested in being any other type of threat on offense.
When Caitlin is out of the game, the Fever don't play this way. They all move.
This isn't even to say that one way works over the other. Many Caitlin fans want her to be as heliocentric as possible.
She was being heliocentric in that 3Q after Atlanta adjusted.
She had 5 turnovers in the period. This makes her defensive lapses unacceptable.
The Indiana Fever are an interesting bunch.
And we get to see it all play out with ALL of their games being nationally televised.
Call it the Caitlin Clark Effect, for sure.
