Excellent review in @CCR_AACR by @Dr_R_Kurzrock on an important non-RAS target in oncology, Claudin 18.2. Cancer adapts fast, so alternating between non-RAS and RAS targets in sequence may become an important strategy for maximizing survival. Yet non-RAS targets tend to fly under the radar these days. In pancreatic cancer in particular, Claudin 18.2 is important (for ~30% of patients); so is MEK (for almost all patients, and our focus at @Immuneering $IMRX with #atebimetinib), PRMT5 (for patients with MTAP deletions), CD73, GSK-3beta, and others.
