I’ve seen a lot of talk from streamers about gambling content and only caring about providing for their own family as a priority etc when taking sponsors.

I think if you’ve grown an audience via a gaming content and you choose to take a bag load of money to do gambling content to that same audience you’re a complete c#@t. End of story.

The sponsors offer large sums, there is a reason, they cover that fee from the losses YOUR AUDIENCE WILL GAMBLE.

The money you get comes from the sponsor but they are making it back with interest from YOUR AUDIENCE OR THEY WOULDN’T OFFER YOU THE MONEY.

Responsibility for individual choices does fall on individuals. But don’t pretend you don’t own some responsibility for converting some of your followers into gamblers and everything that could mean.

If you were thinking over a sponsorship to do with gambling I’d invite you to spend 5 mins looking at a site such as this one and consider what it means for real people who have found your content and trust/enjoy what you do:
