Turns out you sometimes have to leave to see where you belong.
Open roads, new places, the freedom of being small in a wide world — and the quiet truth that home isn’t somewhere. It’s a feeling you carry. ✨
the way she asked, “Can you really forget it?” and that single big a*s tear slipped from her eye made blew turned away, unable to bear the sight of her crying still broke me 🥺
If you want to live a life that feels like your own, learn to break norms. Be slow when the world is addicted to fast. Don’t follow trends, break them. Go to bed early. Watch 3 hour talks. Read books for hours at a time. Watch the entire movie, without taking a break. Go for long walks just with your thoughts. Avoid drama. Keep your life private. Get bored. Let your imagination return. Most people are anxious, distracted, and disconnected from themselves. The opposite of brain rot is deep attention. In a world designed to distract you, focus is an act of rebellion.
Some people,
will never reach out or speak to you again because they don't have the maturity to cope with the fact that they did you wrong and you didn't deserve it.
Since they lack accountability and self awareness, they'll create false narratives about you so they don't have to feel bad about themselves.
Time is the only asset you can't make more of.
Stop wasting it. I use the 4 Ds, in this order...
1. Delete: does this even need to happen?
2. Defer: does it need to happen right now?
3. Delegate: can someone else do this 80% as well?
4. Do: only what survives the first three
You'll find 10 hours of easily replaceable work every week.
You need boredom. It calms the mind. Start by going on walks without music. No stimulation. No distractions. Just you and your free flowing thoughts. You’ll start having ideas once again. You’ll start developing an extreme sense of clarity. The kind of clarity that will shift you into the next stage of your life. All by simply being bored.
