Valve says the upcoming #SteamMachine is being delayed mainly because of the global RAM crisis and rising memory costs.
Translation? Hardware in 2026 is getting expensive for everyone — not just Sony and Microsoft.
Honestly, this thing sounds more interesting every time new details leak out.
A SteamOS-powered hybrid with AMD hardware, PC flexibility, and console simplicity? That’s basically what a lot of us wanted 15 years ago.
I’ve been on Steam since Half-Life 2 required it. Never thought we’d end up here.
If Valve prices this right, it could seriously shake up the console market.

Ubisoft just revealed Survivors, a new mode coming to The Division 2 — basically a modern reboot of the original Survival mode.
Extraction-style gameplay in a frozen, storm-hit Washington D.C. Fighting enemies, surviving the cold, scavenging gear, and trying to make it out alive.
As someone who played the original Survival mode for hours… this is exactly the kind of tension The
Division has been missing.
If they nail the atmosphere and pacing, this could be the best thing added to the game in years.

Arc Raiders just launched its dedicated PvE mode today — and honestly, this is the version that makes sense.
Instead of constant PvP sweat, it’s focused co-op against AI threats, scavenging, survival, and that tense “get in, get loot, get out” loop. Less toxicity, more atmosphere.
If they balance progression right, this could be the mode that keeps it alive long term.

GTA VI delayed again. New date: November 19, 2026. At this point, I’m not even angry — it’s Rockstar being Rockstar. They only ship once they think it’s untouchable.
I’ve been gaming since the NES. I’ve seen hype cycles, broken promises, rushed releases. I’d rather they take the time than drop another unfinished live-service disaster.
But yeah… waiting this long still sucks.

Switch is now basically Nintendo’s best-selling system ever, just about to pass the DS. It earned that. In a market full of smartphones, Steam, and attention rot, it won by doing the simplest thing right: just play anywhere.
Charming, consistent, no nonsense. Will it catch PS2?
Maybe. The fact it’s even close says everything.

Nintendo building a full film universe is interesting. After the success of Mario, they’re now lining up Zelda and at least two more projects. If they do this right, they don’t need to copy Marvel — they just have to respect tone, pacing and worldbuilding.
Nintendo games have always been about mood more than plot. That’s what Hollywood usually doesn’t understand. If they bring that same feeling to film — calm exploration, mystery, music that actually breathes — it could work.
But if they turn everything into quippy plastic Marvel-style noise, it dies instantly.
I grew up with NES and SNES. I’d love to see a Zelda movie that feels like silence in the Lost Woods, not TikTok humor.
We’ll see.

PlayStation Portal finally got the update it needed. As of November 6, you can stream your owned PS5 games directly via cloud — no PS5 powered on at home. #PSPlusPremium required.
New home screen adds:
• Remote Play
• Cloud Streaming
• Search
network status + party invites.
They basically fixed the worst parts of Portal. I’ve used Remote Play since the Vita era — and for the first time this thing feels like a real handheld, not just a fancy screen.
If latency holds, Portal just leveled up.

Amazon just gave its cloud gaming platform a second life — the new Luna is here, free for Prime members, and built around local multiplayer.
“GameNight” is the big new hook: over 25 couch-friendly games playable with just a phone, from Tetris Effect to Exploding Kittens 2 — and yes, even a courtroom improv game starring Snoop Dogg as the judge.
I’ve tested plenty of streaming platforms that forgot one thing: fun.
This might be the first time Amazon actually gets the party side of gaming right.

Microsoft is finally doing what it should’ve done years ago — merging #Windows and #Xbox into one unified gaming ecosystem.
The new ROG Xbox Ally lineup is basically the bridge: full PC power, Xbox integration, and handheld portability.
I’ve been around since DOS and the first Xbox, and this move actually makes sense.
If they pull it off, you’ll be able to buy a game once and play it anywhere — TV, handheld, or desktop — no walled garden nonsense.
This isn’t just another handheld. It’s Microsoft rethinking what a platform even is.

Nine years later and No Man’s Sky is still getting meaningful updates.
The new Breach Update adds space wrecks to explore, new expeditions, and expanded ship building — all for free.
I remember launch day back in 2016 — the hype, the backlash, the “overpromised” memes.
Now it’s a completely different game, built back piece by piece through sheer persistence.
Credit where it’s due — Hello Games didn’t give up when everyone else would’ve folded.
That’s rare in this industry.

If the rumors are true, the #PS6 handheld could be an absolute powerhouse — nearly 3x faster than the Switch 2 in docked mode and still under $500.
That’s insane performance for a portable, especially if it stays compatible with PS4 and PS5 titles.
I’ve seen every handheld wave since the Game Boy, and if Sony nails this one, they could dominate a market Nintendo has owned for decades.
Specs are cool — but if the battery, thermals, and price hold up, this might be the first real Switch killer.

Seven years later and Red Dead Redemption 2 still refuses to age.
Digital Dreams just dropped a full overhaul that makes it look straight-up next-gen — closer to a #PS6 launch title than a 2018 release.
Over 100 mods, ReShade, and top-tier hardware (Ryzen 7 9800X3D + RTX 5090) — and the result is pure visual insanity.
No official next-gen port from Rockstar yet, but at this point, modders have basically done their job for them.

Xbox president Sarah Bond just confirmed what’s been brewing — the next-gen Xbox is deep in prototyping and design with AMD.
They’re calling it “the largest technical leap in a hardware generation,” which is a bold claim even by Microsoft standards.
I’ve followed every Xbox since the OG, and this time it actually sounds like they’re building something with purpose — not just chasing teraflops.
If they truly merge console power with PC-level flexibility, 2027 could be the year the lines blur for real.

Reports are lining up — both #PS6 and the next #Xbox are targeting 2027.
But here’s the twist: Sony and Microsoft seem to be going in completely different directions.
PlayStation might go hybrid, something like a more powerful Switch, while Xbox is rumored to become a PC-console crossover — basically a compact gaming rig.
I’ve seen this dance since the 90s, and it feels like we’re heading for the most experimental generation yet.
The question is — who’s building a console, and who’s building the future of gaming?

Valve is reportedly gearing up to launch its new VR headset — the “Steam Frame” — before the end of 2025.
Mass production has already started, and it’s aiming straight for the high-end segment at around $1,200.
If the leaks are accurate, this thing could bridge PCVR and standalone freedom, something Meta still hasn’t nailed perfectly.
I’ve owned every major headset since the DK1 days, and it’s wild to see Valve still pushing real hardware innovation instead of just chasing metaverse buzzwords.

Mark Cerny — the guy who literally designed the PS4, PS5, and PS5 Pro — just hinted that the #PS6 is only a few years away.
When the lead architect himself says it, you can take it seriously.
I’ve followed PlayStation since the first one dropped, and Cerny’s words usually mark a real shift in hardware.
If Sony wants to win the next round, PS6 has to be more than just faster — it needs to feel like a generational jump again.
