⚠️ RESEARCH: Fusion reactors are going to crash the price of gold.

That’s the headline. Here are the numbers:

Marathon Fusion’s idea is real physics. Fire fusion neutrons at mercury and some of it turns into gold. Published, peer reviewed, nobody disputes it.

Then the math shows up...

A one gigawatt plant, on the optimistic models, makes 2 to 5 tonnes of gold a year. Global mines pull out 3,500 to 4,000 tonnes. One plant moves annual supply by about a tenth of a percent.

The feedstock is enriched mercury. About $15,000 per milligram. Gold trades near $135 per gram. You are loading the reactor with something 100,000x more expensive than what comes out of it.

And what comes out is radioactive. The bars sit in storage for 14 to 18 years before anyone can legally sell them. A plant switched on today delivers its first sellable ounce in the 2040s.

@tradem1c @Tangem Nice AI reply, but a 15% fee on a 3.4% APY yield is q big chunk. I didn't know they were taking a fee until a few weeks ago, pretty sad they do not tell this within the app before actually supplying yield. They should imo. @Tangem

If they, both apps are safe. I always perform this after an app update to make sure. Or don't update

Dat is ruim zestig procent. Let that sink in.

Wat kosten de statushouders in de bijstand?

Hoeveel nieuwe bijstandsontvangers hebben hier nooit gewerkt?

Intussen zitten 192.550 mensen al langer dan vijf jaar in de bijstand, en vond vorig jaar 7,9 procent volledig werk.

Een uitkering tellen lukt dus tot op de laatste. Een rekening optellen niet. Wie het niet weet, hoeft het ook niet uit te leggen.

I take another smartphone, install a app version I KNOW IS SAFE, I scan one of my cards, and check it's the same address.

After every Tangem app update:
Cross-check the receive address on a 2nd device.

Install the official Tangem app on a different clean phone, scan the same card, and confirm the address matches.

Issue solved.

@coinjoined @brt2412 @Bitkey Because the card is the thing holding the secure element chip.. Which holds your generated private key (seedless or not, you choose), which is what you need to sign transactions (you tap the card to the phone).
