Parent-leaders: win at work without losing at home
Systems over Motivation I DM for coaching chat
Dad first. Coach second. Options Trading I Beaches I Craps
I now use AI as a personal assistant.
Not for content. For my actual life.
It reads my calendar; I tell it my tasks, and it drops them into open slots.
Sounds small.
But for the first time, my whole week is out of my head and in front of my face.
AI is leverage, not leadership.
@TolomSiphe@KevinSzabo14 Money absolutely matters.
But I’ve never met a good associate who said, “Pay me fairly, then ignore me like I’m invisible.”
People want both. Fair pay and basic humanity.
Having the knowledge isn’t enough to be successful
You need passion and enthusiasm as well
People will always be more impressed by your enthusiasm than your knowledge
Give them a reason to stop and see what you’re talking about
The we’re gonna die in x amount of years climate change thing reminds me of the old doctor joke
Doctor gives his patient 6 months to live, patient says he can’t pay the bill
Doc says ok I’ll give you 6 more months
They’ve been saying we got 10 more years for the last 50 years
You ever listen to someone you admire or look up to and while listening to them realize they’re just like you?
The only difference is they put themselves out there and you didn’t
Keep that in mind and start acting on your thoughts, they came to you for a reason
Most leaders don't need a new planner.
They need a place to put the week down so it stops living in their head.
That's all the Weekly Command Center is. 7 minutes, one page, free.

Let me know how it goes…
I’m not perfect everyday with it but I do
A lot get confused with thinking it has to be some big huge fear
It can be as small as a convo with a lost friend or admitting something to a spouse
Just do one thing daily that makes you uncomfortable
You’ll be a beast by months end
Want the real secret to life?
Conquer some fear in your life every week
Large or small
The momentum you will build in a month will make you unstoppable
@joshuapalassis I gotta be honest Joshua
I posted this because I myself realized these points a just a few months ago
But the standards framework has changed my whole perspective
@sharran I've noticed this in myself.
The days I spend building something I'm excited about fly by.
The days I'm only focused on the outcome feel a lot heavier.
There's something powerful about enjoying the process while you're chasing the result.
@sweatystartup I don't know...
I'm definitely not seeing AI replace people at scale yet.
But I'm seeing it make one person look like three.
The people getting the biggest results don't seem to be replacing humans.
They're removing bottlenecks.
@KevinSzabo14 I think a lot of people aren't lazy.
They're overloaded.
Too many inputs.
Too many distractions.
Too many decisions.
Most people don't need more motivation.
They need less noise.
