Hello.
Here's our open views about the revised
@ManCityCouncil
active neighbourhood plans.
A time for me (PJ) to bid farewell to this twitter too. See you on the other side of a filter somewhere in the new year.
BYE!

@evefrancisholt big fan of 'active' I like the multiple meanings to take from this word, people and the place is active 'doing stuff' as opposed to a sleepy, passive place that's not thriving or thinking...but it is a toughie...
NEWS ALERT: New £4m city centre walking & cycling ‘triangle’ for Manchester City Centre - plus full breakdown of all 10 boroughs’ plans for £15.8m Active Travel Fund now revealed, includes 24 new/improved miles, and funding for school streets. More to follow... #safestreets
We (@shanwilkinson2, @mikellioth and I) are now almost up to 700 examples of filtered permeability in Bolton Borough in our modal filter map.

Thanks for the update on all things walking and cycling @WalkRideGM. Good to hear @Chris_Boardman on ensuring the design quality for Levenshulme's forthcoming active neighbourhood working with @ManCityCouncil to get it trialled, funded and built well.
2021 #theyearofdelivery 😃
@Dzidra78 what is the status please? The whole community need to know. The communication is dire now. Rumours flying around does not serve the scheme you championed from day 1.
Hope we can continue the trial plans ASAP. Yesterday on chapel street a driver ploughed into a parked car, totalling both cars...going too fast. Metres away from my baby in her buggy. Never has my desire for safer streets and filters been more urgent. @Dzidra78@ManCityCouncil
