Good morning from rainy upstate New York. Unfortunately today will again be a long drive. We’re still in our Canadian rental car from the Toronto game and need to return it in Montreal tonight. Somewhere on the way we’ll get another rental car to than drive onto Boston.
@raidershockey77@TheSabreReport The average NHL career is 26-30 years old. Elite players POSSIBLY 4-6 years more. He's NOT ELITE. We learned our lesson with Jeff Skinner about bad contracts.
161 years ago, Republican President Abraham Lincoln and a Republican Congress freed the slaves from the Democrat Party that fought tooth and nail to keep them in chains.
Democrats started the Civil War to preserve slavery. Democrats founded the KKK. Democrats passed Jim Crow laws. Democrats filibustered the Civil Rights Act.
Today if you are celebrating Juneteenth, don’t forget to thank Republicans!
Today, our nation honored a true American hero, Major James Capers Jr., with the Medal of Honor for his extraordinary bravery during the Vietnam War.
Major Capers is a trailblazer in Marine Corps history, recognized as one of the first Black Marines to serve in elite Force Reconnaissance units and rise to positions of leadership during a time when opportunities were often limited by discrimination. Yet he never let obstacles define him. Instead, he led with courage, determination, and an unwavering commitment to his fellow Marines.
In 1967, while leading a dangerous reconnaissance mission deep in enemy territory, Major Capers was severely wounded multiple times. Despite his injuries, he continued to lead, protect his team, and fight to ensure every Marine under his command survived. His actions reflected the highest ideals of honor, courage, and commitment.
For decades, fellow Marines, veterans, and lawmakers worked to ensure his heroism received the recognition it deserved. Today, that effort culminated with the presentation of the Medal of Honor, the nation's highest award for valor.
Major James Capers Jr.'s legacy is not only one of battlefield heroism but also of perseverance, leadership, and breaking barriers for future generations. His story reminds us that true greatness is measured by service to others, sacrifice in the face of danger, and the courage to lead when it matters most.
Congratulations, Major Capers. Your service, sacrifice, and legacy will inspire Americans for generations to come.

While Obama was dividing the nation at his hideous library, President Trump was honoring American warriors with the Medal of Honor.
Funny how the media barely mentions it. They had wall-to-wall coverage when Obama awarded the Presidential Medal of Freedom to celebrities like Ellen DeGeneres, but recognizing military heroism doesn't seem to generate the same enthusiasm.
Some of the nation's greatest heroes deserve more attention than Hollywood's trash.
I often say that if we don’t get national security right, the rest is just conversation.
I’m glad this year’s NDAA is up to the task, and I look forward to bringing it to the floor very soon.
With $300 billion, we could end homelessness, fund cancer research for 40 years, and give every child free pre-K for over 7 years. Instead, Trump is sending it to Iran. This is not America First. Not even close.
SpaceX stock is up $100 billion today
In one day.
And you're telling me Elon Musk can't pay a $100 billion annual wealth tax to the European Union?
It's literally just one day of wages for him.
Tax Elon Musk NOW.
