There is a sad truth about golf clubs and exclusivity.

You cannot have the right pic without exclusion. It literally can’t exist.

What’s wild is the left picture wasn’t a cheap course. $250 green fee. But it was busy, so the turf was always wrecked. Turf just doesn’t grow back overnight.

This is why most modern driving ranges have gone to mats. It’s just impossible to keep up with turf and crazy expensive to even try.

The days of a $10 bucket and grass to hit off are over in most metro areas.
