@BigusDickus987@CombosDoodles Yeah, there's no way to fit them because the window swings. Central air conditioning is becoming more common, but it's a more recent thing and is still more expensive to fit here because our houses aren't built in the same way as we often use solid stone rather than drywall.
@BigusDickus987@CombosDoodles The heat is getting so bad in the last decade we're starting to adopt more permanent solutions, but it's still expensive and not many places have them yet.
@BigusDickus987@CombosDoodles It sounds crazy, but we can't actually get those window units you often see in the US because they don't fit our windows. As a result we have to use less efficient portable units which are significantly more expensive to run.
