An update about my dog Hiro.
September of last year he was diagnosed with Osteosarcoma in his front right leg. It is a type of bone cancer. i was told he had 3-6 months to live. He lived beyond 6 months. I was recommended a specialist who recommended amputation. He had his right front leg amputated February 28th of this year. He spent the next few months recovering and adjusting to his new tripawd life. He underwent chemotherapy and was given a trial vaccine for his specific type of cancer. Thank you again to the Yale vaccine.

Unfortunately things are no longer going well.
Last month during his chest X-rays the radiologist found two concerning spots that looked like they could be metastatic.
He has developed a cough and it’s been rapidly getting worse by each passing week. Yesterday without going into too much detail it was a very hard day.
He has an appointment for this Friday. I can tell he is getting more and more winded from moving around. We fought so hard, he is so strong and brave. I love him more than anything. He is my son. He is my world and I feel so fucking helpless. I know that this Friday I’m not going to get any good news. I know it will happen soon. I don’t know what to do once he’s gone.
