Rumour has started circulating that there may be a Lewes BaroqueFest 2020 building on the success of the 2019 festival. Whilst we cannot confirm or deny this rumour please do make sure you block your diaries in July!
Many thanks to everyone who made Lewes BaroqueFest 2019 possible. We are overwhelmed by the success of our inaugural festival. From performers to helpers and the public we owe a debt of gratitude. First and foremost thanks to John Hancorn and Julia Bishop for your inspiration.
@LewesFestival Many thanks. We are all getting our breath back to honest. One thing that is clear is that itโs possible to run a very successful later summer Baroque festival in the Lewes area.
Day Two: lasts nights beautiful recital by Alison Bury & Maggie Cole was well appreciated by a sizeable audience. We are expecting more of the same when Piers Adams and Howard Beach startup @ 6.30pm. Later on @ 9.00pm Baroque Collective Singers perform a wonderful programme.
