I can't even believe how hard we actually won with Denia this patch. Everything, and I mean absolutely everything about her screams that she loves Rover.
My old theory was only half right. Denia knew about Rover through GA's words. She couldn't even imagine that someone like him could exist, and all this time she kept wondering where he had been her entire life while she was left behind to suffer alone like this.
Her final moments are literally just Rover's words soothing her heart. And now, finally free from GA's ever-watchful eyes, she confesses that every single time she said she "hated" Rover before, she truly meant the complete opposite.
I am literally kneeling in front of the Kuro Games banner hanging in my room right now.
GLORY TO KURO GAMES!
I cannot praise Kuro Games' writing skill enough.
You guys know what is so profoundly romantic about Denia calling Rover her “least” favorite person?
When Rover asked, "Why?" she refused to answer. She told him to be patient, keeping the secret with that beautiful smile of hers before asking him out for the next day.
But before Rover could ever know, before Denia ever had the chance to answer, she banished herself into the Void to protect the world, to protect Rover.
The only promise she left behind was this: The next time they meet, every “hate” she once spoke will become a “like.”
It is a beautiful conclusion in its own right.
But, if you notice the whole context, it literally means this: When the day finally comes and Denia can stand in front of Rover again, every reason she once used to "hate" him, will become her saying how much she "likes" him.
And those are her true feelings. Hence, her entire quest's achievement is called "Amanojaku."
Once again, I kneel before Kuro Games.
