If we take into consideration that 50% of those 4 cars failed, than potentially 50% of the field were also below the limit.

Just feel like they have opened up an issue, which if they decide to change down the line, ruins the consistency of the check - 4/4

When it comes to the disqualifications of Hamilton or Leclerc, why would the FIA not check more of the grid, to ensure legality across all teams.

They have checked 4 cars, and 50% have failed the test. This gives the impression that there are many - 1/4

Surely they can go and check the planks of the other teams and measure them, to ensure there is no further issues, and it then sets a positive precedent, going forward. Surely that’s the fairest way to do it.
