Please support the Leeton Band program and our trip to Chicago by eating at Wendy's in Warrensburg this Friday. Be sure to show our flyer when ordering!
In band rehearsal this morning, we practiced spacing and lines by using ribbon, velcro, and collars around their arms to attach everyone together. If they got too far apart or out of line, the ribbon would detach. It was challenging, but they did great.
What a great first marching competition for the year; first place in all three events and scores that rank right up there with the bigger schools! I'm so proud of you Marching Bulldogs! You make it easy to want to come to work every day. #BulldogPride#LEEWHAT
We're selling Butter Braids & Coffee to raise money for our Chicago trip in May. You can order Butter Braids at https://t.co/L5uV4gp2Vt or by directly contacting a band member. There's not a website for the coffee, so contact a band member or Mrs. Lewis at [email protected]
I love my dedicated students who are still here an hour after school & the other students who were here this morning an hour before school to practice. They are why I do what I do. It makes for a long day, but it is worth it to see them do what they need to succeed. #bulldogpride
Don't forget to come on out to the Leeton Band Program's Bingo Night tonight at 6pm in the school cafeteria. All proceeds will go towards their 2020 trip to Chicago.
It was another great weekend for the Marching Bulldogs. We placed 1st in parade, 2nd in drumline, and 2nd in color guard at the Odessa Marching Invitational.
