The club are pleased to announce the signing of left back Lewis Hey from fellow NPL team Bamber Bridge.
Lewis who predominantly operates down the left hand side can also operate in various other positions. Previously of Guiseley & Bradford Park Avenue where he gained substantial experience at step 2 & 3, Lewis has also had trials at a number of football league clubs.
A few words from the gaffer on Lewis
“We’re delighted to welcome Lewis to the football club.
He’s someone I’ve tried to sign previously on a couple of occasions so I’m really pleased to welcome him into the group.
His attributes will add to our balance & fluency in our offensive play giving us good options to build attacks through both sides of the pitch.
He’s a lad with excellent energy & quality and has operated at this level and above from a young age so joins us with plenty of experience despite being relatively young.
He impressed us immensely last season when playing for Bamber Bridge at our place early in the season which only reinforced our belief that he was a great fit for the way we want to play”
We’re looking forward to seeing Lewis in an Owls shirt.

@NorthernPremLge Anymore thoughts of changing the medicine balls this season.
Research indicates a potential link between playing football, particularly heading the ball, and an increased risk of dementia later in life. @PFA@FA please can we step in 👍
@NorthernPremLge@andysmanclubuk Brilliant support for the mental health of men out there 👏I have a question though when is somebody going to reply to me about getting rid of the chryso balls, with everything in the news around dementia surely it’s time for a change, maybe it’s time for the @PFA to step in.
