@urbanistfromwhk Its kinda amazing how the Councils planning policy uses demand as a projected floor area rather than an expression of preference, explained here by Gary et al.
@StuartBDonovan Shame council's CBAs never mentioned this... much like their economic evidence around no opportunity cost for the city centre provisions...
@FrankMcRae@ScootFoundation is it? I haven't taken the commissioner accreditation but it's always been drilled into me that they're in this weird fact free bubble other than what's been but in front of them π€·ββοΈ
@ScootFoundation Also note that this was the Council position and they've the most resources throughout this process which is another debate altogether. I personally agree with the wider urban econ evidence, but it wasn't 'at play' here :/
@ScootFoundation With by big fucking nerd hat on: the RM system is adversarial I.e. the panel makes a judgement what evidence was presented to it, rather than inquisitorial, them finding their own facts.
We only ever see the same handful of video clips from WW2 that I'm always amazed when shots like this pop up from archives. A pre dreadnought of all things firing point blank into a city is insane and someone filmed it. People just gathering to watch is equally crazy.
