@Pipeline_Jon@Bear_Cage@David_Ornside Surprisingly, I think the midfield should be the focus for next season. The amount of times the defence has been left exposed by a midfield of players who don’t look ‘up’ for the match anymore was a huge reason why Liverpool conceded so many goals this year.
@Bear_Cage@David_Ornside Agreed. It very much feels like this Liverpool team will take many years to rebuild and will never be anywhere close to the at ‘Klopp team’.
@Ninety_6ix@David_Ornside But he didn’t though did he? Klopp had that team for 3 years (between the last win) and didn’t win it. Slot came in, changed the tactics and won the league against all odds.
@DarkDaze_Qhina@nocontextfm1 Are you for real!? Even if we pretend that football is only been around for year. The league was dominated by Arsenal/United in the 90’s, Chelsea in 00’s, and the rise of City in the 10’s. To come out of that period with the success we achieved is more than ‘mediocrity’
@nocontextfm1 Simple, he was the manager in charge when the club won the league. Don’t give me any of that ‘it was Klopp’s squad’. If this season had been the performances from last season, everyone would’ve understood and been fine with it. Sadly, football is fickle.
@kylesullivan7 The club is losing its soul once again. The amazing fans that go on a way trips are being treated poorly and the controversy regarding security this year has been a shambles.
@Colemans_Dream@TwmbarlwmSam Also, when you say Newcastle ‘not knowing a big game…’
You mean like a cup final? Like last year? Which they won?
When did Arsenal last win a cup final?
@gogetemtigers Think I need to rethink my comment. Seeing Liv’s walk to the ring, I think we’re hearing a delay between the in-stadium audio and the feed audio.
