@WBA@t_cdedwards Super Bob but honourable mentions for; Morrison, Brunt, Yacob, Mulumbu, Olsson, G-Mac, Foster, Sneekes, Darren Moore, Gera, Odemwingie. I could go on!
Itβs only disproportionate if they assume they are winning the play-offs and it could be argued they are only in the play-offs because they cheated. Their form went 180 under Eckart and the whole league thought he was a genius - but maybe he was just a cheat?
The entitlement here is unreal. Nobody can take away money a club doesnβt yet have. Saints were willing to cheat to try & take away points from Oxford which can cost them their status (which they failed & lost even with cheating) so why on earth should they be in the PO final?
An Independent Disciplinary Commission has today expelled Southampton from the Sky Bet Championship Play-Offs after the Club admitted to multiple breaches of EFL Regulations related to the unauthorised filming of other Clubsβ training.
In addition, the Club has received a four-point deduction that will be applied to the 2026/27 Championship table.
The effect of todayβs order is that Middlesbrough are reinstated into the 2026 Play-Offs and will proceed to the Play-Off Final against Hull City. The final remains scheduled for Saturday 23 May, with the kick-off time to be confirmed.

Very sad to be saying goodbye to @DarylDike. A great character and I hope he goes on to have a wonderful career. I can understand offering Maja a deal as heβs an absolute quality player. Jed Wallace appeared to be a fantastic captain too and was massive in our survival #wba
This song is a grower, but I already like it! The last time I felt like that about a Bloc Party song was Banquet so I guess this could be their best song in a scarily long time π
@_the_a_bis Heβs the exact signing that a strong amount of our fans would turn their noses up but heβs the kind of player that gets teams out of this league. I think our fans expect us to build a Premier League ready team when we actually just need to improve on previous campaigns 1st #wba
On this day 26 years ago, we beat Charlton Athletic 2-0 at The Hawthorns.
Sneekes and Super Bob scored the goals that put the Champions to the sword and secured safety in Division One at the expense of Black Country rivals Walsall.
