Growing up hearing “Wikipedia isn't a valid source” and then entering a workplace where people say “just ask ChatGPT” is a surprisingly strange timeline
yt people should be more humble because some of your college students avail essay tutoring from filipinos (i know because this was one of my previous jobs)
how to tell if Filipinos use ChatGPT according to Americans:
1. they use of "would've been" instead of "would of been"
2. no double negatives
3. "nuclear" is spelled and pronounced right
4. using conjunction "than" instead of "then" in comparisons
5. correct grammar in general
"sarap maging tibo na hindi sa fandom nanggaling pagkatibo ko" wait lang sis ah gawan lang kita diploma certificate at medal made from real gold😭😭😭 mind u personal acknowledgement lang yon.. and why do we care about how someone came to terms with their sexuality?
everyone in the qrts dunking on this aren't actually in academia bc as a stem grad student in EU, i wrote "cringy" acknowledgements too for my thesis at a very well known institution. so did my supervisor for his. no one gives a shit LOL
it's a thesis, not a journal article.
avery if u think my writing is ass u can just say that lol the chatgpt accusation’s unnecessary :) anyway! those last three lines are inspired from a prose i wrote for a class a couple sems ago it’s a bit melodramatic sure but it’s sincere
ok so besides this being an undergad thesis (aka it’s not that serious), researchers have been putting fun, romantic, and even snarky messages in the acknowledgments of their papers for forever. WHATEVER HAPPENED TO FUN??? Like let’s all just live, god!
