For months while on the Wicked Tour circuit, many fans were denying the reality of the situation, saying she may be dealing with some sort of chronic illness and that pointing out how severe her evident eating disorder was was “body shaming”. No it’s not, anyone in their late 20s, particularly those of us who also had eating disorders, remember her Tumblr and know this is not her first time at this rodeo.

Even if it were the case she was dealing with some horrific (non eating disorder) illness, why are her team and family allowing her to go on tour when she is so noticeably ill and close to fatally underweight. Why are they allowing videos where she’s included a “you need to lose a few pounds” note? If they cared even an ounce they would not allow hours long performances in stilettos when she is visibly emaciated.

Karen carpenter died because her heart gave out when she was starting her recovery, not while in active starvation.

I’m scared that we are close to losing one of the best artists of our generation, and her team and family don’t seem to give a fuck. Horrific.

Not a single person is telling this woman to “lose a few pounds.” If this was her way of blaming her own fans for her dramatic weight loss then she’s completely delusional. Everyone is concerned BECAUSE of how much she has lost. She looks like a skeleton here and there is nothing anyone could say, including her that could convince me this is healthy.
