AI hallucinations aren’t the problem. Humans hallucinating about their own brilliance after using AI are.
AI hallucinations are not the real problem. The greater danger lies in humans who, after using AI to generate content, delude themselves into believing they are the true geniuses behind it.
When we rely on fabricated data or imaginary research, yet stand triumphantly under the spotlight—crown on head, cape flowing, lightbulb raised high—basking in cries of “Amazing!” and “So brilliant!”, we have already lost sight of what matters: rigorous thinking and honest verification.
AI is a powerful tool, but it should never become an excuse for human hubris. True progress demands humility.
