Leslie draws a conclusion about “70% of Jews in Michigan” from a comment about “70% of Jewish leaders’ congregants.”

Most Jews are not congregants of any synagogue. Those who arent skew progressive.

There is no chance 70% of Jews in Michigan vote against El-Sayed.

@BigYapman75837 I'm a Marquette fan. I think Pitino is wrong to think we should be preseason #1 in the big east. But he said publicly in July, without the pressure of a vote, he thinks Marquette should be the favorite. He's wrong. But he's not doing this to swipe UConn.

@TheFieldOf68 @PigTrailNation The highest paid NBA assistant (ever) was paid about 2 million per year -- most NBA assistants make a few hundred thousand per year.

The minimum salary for an NBA rookie is 1.35 million dollars. Average is 12 million. It isn't weird for players to make more than assistants.

@Marghareti72 That Shaka-critic tagline, while it was fun to use in 2023, is wrong.

Since leaving VCU, Shaka Smart has 2 losing seasons (I assume you mean under-.500), and he has 3 tournament wins.

If you mean in conference play, he has 3 sub-.500 conference records and 3 tourney wins.

@NYPost_Brazille I'd put the O/U for public statements of admiration by Rick Pitino of Nigel James Jr. at 3.5 for the season.

Pitino is a fan like the rest of us sometimes, and he seems to rightly love a classic New York-style point guard. Seems to me this is affecting his vote, which...cool!

@elmhurst_pubber I think this is classic preseason rankings stuff. The clear #1 player on not-the-best-team, who's gonna have great stats, is a safer pick than either Mullins or Demary -- you don't know which of them will emerge as UConn's #1. But one probably will. I say this as a HUGE NJ fan!

I'm sorry you've experienced this, genuinely! Nobody should. But it's pretty rich to hear I'm unaware of antisemitism when I am targeted by it all the time.

I receive antisemitic comments multiple times per week (I work for a digital Jewish organization). It has increased drastically in recent years...
