However long you look at it, if you don't have extra information (there's another year), the data's (inaccurate) story is that Butler's development was on the extreme low end of MU players.

@nolan_durdan @PaintTouches @cobrastats Fair enough. I think players whose careers were not fully post-2010 should be taken out then. His numbers are misleading if the goal is to capture which players improved, which didn't, and which regressed. The story told here is "Jimmy Butler did not improve while at Marquette."

@GoodmanHoops Fully agree! I'm confused why, if "bad for college basketball" is the metric -- and you think both this and tourney expansion are bad -- why your approach to expansion has been "not great but it was inevitable, tourney'll still be fine."

@Spokoiny Yes I agree, it's very confusing why someone running for NYC mayor would translate campaign literature into Yiddish -- a language that over 100,000 people in NYC speak (6th most common language in the city) -- and not Hebrew, which is outside the top 10. Worth wondering indeed!

@BigYapman75837 @aberasturi_paul In all sincerity what’s your definition of “elite fanbase?” I have been to around 50 PC games and live in Providence. I covered their games for 2 years and wish the program well.

I can think of no metric by which PC has an “elite fanbase” other than loudness on Twitter.
