It didn’t even have to be gameplay. The Final Fantasy 7 remake reveal was perfect and generated 100 times more hype.

People know the story you wouldn’t be spoiling anything by showing more. I wanted to see what the game will actually look like in motion, show us Hyrule field, give us something!

When I bought it the guy was talking like it was some black market deal lol. For beer it was crazy expensive too.

To me (not a huge beer guy) it was gross. That’s when I learnt I’m all for cheap and cheerful.

@KinzaTracks It’s fantastic! Get a bit of competition going again. Hopefully this becomes the norm and not the exception.
I say this as someone who growing up was very PlayStation first (and still am honestly).
Xbox has been great this generation when it comes to first party output.

@dancingofpens I took my kids to see it and they loved it, but you’re exactly right. They had no connection to this franchise at all. The reason they were there was because I thought they might like it. It isn’t something they were organically exposed to.

@Romudeth If I bought every game Xbox released that I wanted play, I wouldn’t subscribe to GP. If I didn’t subscribe to GP Xbox would get less of my money per year than they do now.
They want you to play the games they put on the service, that’s what keeps you engaged and paying.

@TheRealZephryss It’s been like this the last 3 years. I’ve been more PS than Xbox leaning growing up, but Xbox have crushed them games wise this gen.
Having said this, at the end of the day as an owner of all platforms it’s just more good games to play.
