@Zizoplays1 Glad you like it! We put in a lot of effort to make sure we scale well to lower end settings so as many people as possible can experience the game, seeems like it payed off 😄
@edaxrervm@oliemack We are aware that people want FSR4 support and we want it in 007 and Glacier too. The upcoming support for RDNA3 cards makes it even more interesting. We are looking into it but I can't make any promises.
@SteamDeckHQ@longstorychort It's the regular PC version but we do detect that we are running on Steam Deck. The default graphic options are set to low and our pipeline is set up to internally upscale to native display resolution to preserve as much image quality as possible (despite the low internal res)
@SteamDeckHQ@longstorychort You'll definitely be able to drop in the heaviest scenes we have, but it should be rare. We put some effort into the Deck version to make sure it runs as good as possible out of the box :)
The glacier engine is pure wizardry. I don't know how they manage to maintain great performance while having so many NPCs on screen at once, while also maintaining such a high level of detail.
Techpowerup has some first @007GameIOI performance benchmarks. If you want to know how the game will run on your machine, take a look: https://t.co/bUCL6NSYmk
The takeaways from our big 007 tech interview: PS5/Pro/Series X at 60fps, Series S at 30fps, software RT global illumination, Glacier Engine upgrades + more: https://t.co/jcFW1uKaAj
Very happy that we were able to finally share a closer look at Smolder in the latest @digitalfoundry video!
It is a fully integrated volumetric renderer, and it enables volumetric shadows for every light in the entire game.
You'll see a lot of Smolder effects in @007GameIOI :)
Another really great deep dive from @digitalfoundry into the tech details of 007 First Light with the game devs. They cover the new GI implementation, improvements from Hitman and also Path Tracing! https://t.co/5S0nIfL1Os
