AC Milan recently launched its "Club 1899 Front Row Experience."
The idea is modeled after what you would see at a Los Angeles Lakers or New York Knicks game, with AC Milan’s pitchside seats filled with VIP guests.
Perks Include:
• Parking next to the players
• Personal concierge greeting
• Michelin-star quality food & beverage
• Pitch access during warmups
These seats will provide AC Milan with even more firepower to add to its Serie-A-leading 2 million ticketed fans last year — and it’s just the latest example of AC Milan’s new ownership group transforming the business.
AC Milan was recently named the fastest-growing club in Europe for the third consecutive year.
The Italian club’s matchday revenues have doubled year-over-year, too. Their operating revenue increased by 84% over the last five seasons, and AC Milan has even seen its enterprise value grow 35% from 2023.
AC Milan’s 2024 Financial Profile
• Standings: #2 in Serie A
• Revenue: $405 million (highest in club history)
• Operating Income: $81 million
• Club Valuation: $1.425 billion (#14 in the world)
These results are directly correlated to AC Milan's new ownership group — RedBird Capital, NY Yankees, LeBron James, Drake, etc. — reinvesting in the fan experience, ultimately creating new (and diversified) revenue streams.
This trend of turning premium sports assets into platform companies has been taking place in the United States over the last decade.
But AC Milan is leading the way in Italy, and many other football clubs will eventually follow in their footsteps.

Spent the morning talking about the business behind F1 with Aston Martin, including how they leverage the sport to sell nearly $2 billion in sports cars.
Special shoutout to @bluewirepods for the hospitality!
Podcast will be out next week.
Formula 1's new paddock building in Las Vegas is complete.
The inaugural Las Vegas Grand Prix has been heavily criticized because of expensive tickets, a 1 AM ET start time, road closures, and more.
But the fact that Formula 1 paid $240 million for an empty lot and now has a fully functioning, permanent, 300,000-square-foot paddock building ready just 12 months later is pretty damn impressive.
This is going to look GREAT on TV.
The cheapest ticket for tomorrow's Notre Dame vs. Ohio State game is currently at $879 on @TickPick.
Prices have increased 35% over the last 24 hours and tickets are now 6x more expensive than the get-in price for last year’s national championship game ($150).
That’s insane 🤯
What John Mayer did on Althea last night was absolutely ridiculous.
I’ve watched this like five times since last night and don’t plan on stopping anytime soon.
