You take ages looking for a job. Connections, dumped CVs, lies, waiting at the counter for whole day, months, & walk the streets hungry, tired & walking with a worn out shoe. The moment you get the job, your attitude changes, the ethical values imparted unto you by your mother vanish in the air. You start to cheat your employer, judge your bosses & workmates, make fictitious entries & claims, spend whole day in social media, invite your tribe & friends at your work place, report late & leave early. Why should you forget years of suffering, living at your friends places, begging for food & transport but add no value to your employer? Guys, think again. It’s good to point fingers at others on X for being corrupt but, do an introspection of yourself. You let your God down who heard all your prayers, your loved ones & yourself. Be honest. Work hard. Add value to your institutions or companies. God will reward you highly.

I come back here with gratitude. Kisaasi Police Post at Northern Bypass Roundabout is now clear of the car-scrap which had not only eaten up the road, but the parking area which the road designers had designated for taxis’ offloading.

However, the left motorcycle-scrap might grow in numbers if not too, cleared. Let us not leave room for temptations. Whereas us in Kisaasi are appreciative of your positive response and for maintaining a Force with the Ear to the public, we suggest the same should apply to all scrap-congested Stations.

Mr. IGP, it takes time and critical thinking for a criminal to carry a bomb through police doors. But it requires not rocket science for the same to plant a C4 in a car wreckage outside and off they go with the detonator for later use. Thank you again for listening to us Sir.

The issue raised by the coffee seedling suppliers in Masaka has been resolved. His Excellency the President @KagutaMuseveni , through the State House Comptroller @JaneBarekye , will ensure that the suppliers are paid fully tomorrow morning.

I also wish to inform the nation that the matter appears to have been escalated due to political differences and the stress faced by the seedling operators. The contract to supply the coffee seedlings was awarded to Chairman Bulegeya of Masaka. Hon. Justine Namere only witnessed the arrangement and was not a contracting party to the suppliers, contrary to the allegations made by the lady yesterday.

Open Apology Brief to The CDF

Dear Gen. Muhoozi Kainerugaba (@mkainerugaba), My name is Stanley Ndawula, a lowly journalist in Uganda and a food vender who, obviously is little known in your circles and one who doesn’t deserve your attention even for a second.

However, I’m left without any option than seeking your attention. Today, I labored to write an open letter to you but failed to post it at every attempt I tried, for I guess you have no time to read an 800word piece from someone you don’t even know.

I’m here to plead for our own, Ndugu Gideon Tugume who, today made 11days in a custody yet unknown to any of us and his family. I personally believe that your anger was, and still is justified. No body would joke about one’s paternity. I too wouldn’t stand such. However, we know you as a leader with a good and forgiving heart when you choose to.

Whether Gideon is still alive or dead (the latter because he was depending on self-injectable insulin which he wasn’t allowed to carry with him), we still seek your mercy. Lastly, Tugume has been a supporter of your Operation Maliza Usadi, save for a few previous episodes he jumped out of his professional line.

I’m hereby taking collective responsibility to apologize to you Sir, on behalf of his family, his friends and colleagues at work. We may not pledge anything on his behalf but we promise to watch him well if he’s given another chance to freedom. We so pray, Sir.

Yesterday at State House Entebbe, I delivered a Lecture of Opportunity to student officers from the War College of Mali. I emphasised that Africa’s prosperity lies in production, value addition and expanding our markets through economic integration.
I also stressed that the continent must build the capacity to defend its interests on land, in the air, at sea and in space, while remaining committed to Pan-Africanism, patriotism and African solutions to African problems.
