Body Language SCREAMS 😱
According to Psychology Today, 55% of communication is body language, 38% is tone of voice, and 7% is spoken words.
Here are 10 Keys to Master Body Language as a Coach or Team Leader.
1. Eyes Speak Volumes: Your eyes are the window to the soul. Maintain eye contact for trust and sincerity. It's a simple way to connect.
2. Handshakes Matter: Start strong with a confident handshake. It builds trust and sets a positive tone.
3. Stand Tall: Good posture exudes confidence. Own your space and inspire your team.
4. Gestures Count: Use purposeful gestures to emphasize points. It adds impact to your words.
5. Smile Often: A genuine smile creates a positive vibe. It makes your leadership enjoyable.
6. Be an Active Listener: Show your engagement by nodding and mirroring emotions. It encourages open communication.
7. Respect Cultures: Body language can vary across cultures. Respect diversity in non-verbal cues.
8. Adapt as Needed: Tailor your body language for different situations. Flexibility enhances your leadership.
9. Mirroring: Mimicking is a form of flattery! Subtly mirroring your team's body language can create rapport and foster a sense of connection.
10. Personal Space: Respect boundaries! Invading personal space can make your team uncomfortable. Maintain a comfortable distance to show respect and professionalism.
Body language is your secret weapon in leadership. Master it to inspire and be the best leader you can.

Accountability done well is holding people to the standard not because you are against them, but because you are for them. It's reminding them of who they are meant to be, of the commitment they’ve made.
Accountability is what you do for people, not to people.
PLAYERS: When you become a "whatever the team needs" type player then you become a great teammate and your team's culture is strengthened. Great teams have great teammates.
