The only Texas Republicans on X who support Cornyn are his staffers. There are also those who poo-poo on Paxton because he was impeached by the Texas House and then not convicted on any of those charges by the Texas Senate. There are also charges from 2015 that have been taken care of to the satisfaction of the courts. Paxton has served admirably as Texas Attorney General. Paxton is MAGA. Cornyn is a Trump supporter only during election season. Once elected Cornyn always goes right back to the Bush-era establishment GOP good ole boys like McConnell who oppose Trump and won't pass good laws like the SAVE America Act. Texas Republicans are done with Cornyn.
