I don’t give my first book baby enough love, so today’s CoH’s day. Interested in a YA/NA book that:
- Deals with themes of overcoming violence, loss, and grief?
- Has an 👽MC in a fake human body who will do anything to save her human friends?
- Has strong platonic love?

Everyone’s arguing about what adults should or shouldn’t read. “Don’t read kids’ books.” “Read the classics.” Read both. Read widely. Read for knowledge and pleasure, read for the joy of a good story, read for wisdom and escape, read for no reason at all. Just read.
The hotly anticipated Stardew Valley update 1.6 will bring a new farm layout, new festivals and events, the ability to drink mayonnaise, and more to console and mobile on November 4. https://t.co/nsBuLPM4oo
Put those charms on your bag. Write that fanfiction. Do that cosplay. Buy that nerdy thing. Draw your ocs. Enjoy that fandom. Post that video. Don't you dare let societies cringe culture stop you from having fun and expressing yourself!
@jaisydaisy_ I’ve had many hairdresser experiences where they’ve asked how I’m not in school during a weekday afternoon appointment and I’ve had to correct them and say ‘I haven’t been to school in over a decade, I’m almost 30’ 😂😅
I’m waiting for the new Dragon Age game, but I’m also trying to save up for a deposit on a home. So I won’t be buying it when it first comes out more than likely. I’ll wait for that first price drop in a few months. If it was cheaper, I’d buy it on release day.
Have game companies not realised that by putting up the prices of their games, less people will be able to afford it at full price, and so less people will buy it, and they will have less profits?
With Final Fantasy 16 and Final Fantasy 7 Rebirth missing profit expectations, Square Enix has canceled a number of games and is working on a new multi-platform plan for PC and potentially Xbox and the next Nintendo console. https://t.co/pxmIME4OZo
It’s been an exciting few months, learning more about the future of Dragon Age, but until the game releases and I can play it, I’m muting everything and stepping back.
Having to mute everything to do with BioWare and Dragon Age now. As much as I’ve enjoyed the little spoilers, it feels like I’m seeing the entire game, and I want to go in somewhat blind, so until I have the game physically in my hands and start playing, I have to step back :(
I’ll miss interacting with fellow fans and devouring all the little tidbits and fan art, but imo its not just little snippets now, its full blown spoilers that will not feel like a surprise when I play the game, so I won’t be interacting with the fandom.
@gynedroid I feel the same. I’ve had to mute a lot of words and hashtags because despite wanting to see more and chat about the game before it releases, I feel like I’m seeing TOO much. Like there’s spoilers and then SPOILERS and I’ve just decided to step back until I can play myself
